Singers from the First Presbyterian Church Stamford will present Son of God Mass by English composer James Whitbourn in an online concert April 2, at 7:30 p.m.
The socially-distanced choir will be joined by saxophonist Matthew Willis and organist Rebecca Ehren, under the direction of Music Minister Kevin Bailey. The concert will be livestreamed and you’ll find the link by clicking the Concert banner on our homepage. https://www.fishchurch.org No advance registration is necessary.
The music of the Mass is beautiful and meditative, inviting you to reflect not only on the Lenten journey of the Church, but also giving space for reflection and grief in what continues to be a trying time. Other pieces for the evening include a handbell duet, and an organ voluntary by guest organist Rebecca Ehren.
