I am the Associate Director of Development at Saint Joseph Parenting Center. SJPC is a nonsectarian, 501c-3 registered nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families at risk of child abuse and neglect by providing community- based parenting education and family support services. Many of our parents don't have the skills or support network to parent positively with 90% living below the Federal poverty line. Many have also suffered trauma, abuse or neglect personally. At SJPC, we believe that when you educate the parent, you protect the child.
We are seeking to meet the Stamford businesses to integrate SJPC into our local Stamford community.
